D.G. Petkar has over 35 years of hands-on experience in projects, manufacturing, and operations within heavy industries, as well as the steel and pipe manufacturing sectors. He played a vital role in the execution of the ArcelorMittal Jubail Greenfield Project from 2007 to 2012. Recognizing the demand for tube accessories in the Indian market, he established Universal Tube Accessories Pvt. Ltd. as a joint venture with Jindal Saw Limited to manufacture import-substitute accessories and tooling for the tube and pipe-making industries under one umbrella. As the founder and CEO of Universal Tube Accessories Pvt. Ltd., he currently oversees the company’s operations across PAN India and Saudi Arabia.
